Edwards Tae Kwon Do Center (Millerton, Amenia, and Wassaic, NY)
Master Charles Edwards is the owner/founder of Edwards Tae Kwon Do Center. He educated hundreds of people in the tri-state area with Tae Kwon Do, street self-defense, and all around fitness. Baker's TKD instructors were all disciples of Master Edwards. He ran the business solely for over 30 years, and continues to keep an eye on the Baker's Tae Kwon Do Team instructors when he is in town.
Edwards Tae Kwon Do Center was known for their dominance of open and invitational tae kwon do tournaments as well as flashy yet traditional demonstrations. Master Edwards is recognized as the most thorough, vigorous, and inspirational tae kwon do instructor in the Pan Am Tae Kwon Do Federation. Sir Edwards stood by every one of his students, and respected all as if they were family.
As Master Edwards closed his doors, his top students united and opened the doors in Salisbury, CT. Baker's Tae Kwon Do Team would like to give a sincere kamsa-hamnida (Korean for thank you) to our Sensang-Nim, for the wisdom and strength that he passed onto us. We intend to relay his spirit onto the students of
Baker's Tae Kwon Do.
